Faustino “Tino” Trevino, 1946 - 2024

Faustino “Tino” Trevino, 77, of Slaton, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024.

Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slaton. Arrangements were by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Tino was born on April 3, 1946, in Slaton to Jose and Santiaga Trevino. He married Rosie Valdez on Nov. 20, 1975, in El Paso. They had made their first home in Slaton and later moved to Post. She passed away in 2011. He worked in Maintenance for the Slaton Independent School District and retired in 2011. He enjoyed playing bingo and going to the game room and listening to oldies music. He also enjoyed taking walks with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; his sister, Henrietta Rodriguez; and his brothers, Jimmy, Domingo, and Pablo Trevino.

Tino is survived by his daughter, Angela Trevino and her husband, Clinton Daniels of Petersburg; his sisters, Jesse Estrada, Isabella Trevino, Mary Armenta, Benita Caraveo and her husband, Fernando, and Estella Martinez and her husband, Tony, all of Slaton; his brothers, Manuel Trevino, Joe Trevino and his wife, Irene, all of Slaton, Raymond Trevino of Lubbock, and Johnny Trevino of Slaton; and his grandchildren, Sydney and Jeffrey Harvey, and Logan Daniels.
