Services for Howard Kenith Bullard, 80, of Post will be held Friday January 17th at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church of Post with Keith Garner and Herb Atzbach officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow at Terrace Cemtery under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 16th from 6-7:30PM at Hudman Funeral Home.
Kenith was born April 25, 1939 in Post to Wesley & Ayra Bullard. He graduated from Post High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-67 being stationed in Berlin during the Berlin Crisis. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the service, he worked at the Postex Mill until he retired. He then worked for PISD as a custodian and drove the bus and ran the chains for football games for many years after his retirement.
Kenith is survived by his children, Keith Bullard and his wife Jana of Post and Susan McAnulty and her boyfriend Jr. Martinez of Arlington. Two brothers, John Bullard of Crowley and Cecil Bullard of Ft. Worth. One sister, Alice Maberry of Mineral Wells. Five grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Corky Bullard, William Bullard and James Bullard and an infant sister.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Post VFW.
