SYD CONNER ME- MORIAL LIVESTOCK COMPLEX – On Satur-day, January the 18th, the Garza County Junior Livestock Association will be holding the 56th Annual Garza County Junior Livestock Show. Southland FFA, Post FFA, and Garza County 4H kids will be competing in the contest.
They will display the hard work they put in with the show animal that they have chosen for this year. The contestants will be showing pigs, steers, heifers, lambs, goats, and rabbits.

The Maxine Durrett Earl Charitable Foundation donated new livestock panels for the contestant’s show animals. The pens replaced the overnight pens for the sheep, goats, and swine. They have also used them to replace the holding pens in the ring and the waiting ring.
The show will start at 9:00 a.m. with the swine. The swine will be followed by the heifers, the steers, and then the rabbits. At 1:00 p.m., the show will continue with the lambs
and end the with the goats.
