Students who raised over $100 for the Kid’s Heart Challenge got to slime Principal Dawn Jones.

During the Kid’s Heart Challenge, Post Elementary students raised a total of $6,171.22.
For their generous contributions, students were rewarded with popsicle parties, dodgeball games, Sonic gift cards, a trip to the park and even the chance to slime the principal.
The classes that collected the most money were rewarded with a popsicle party. Those classes included, Mrs. Ray’s kindergarten class, Mrs. Lester’s first-grade class, Mrs. Short’s second-grade class, Mrs. Reece’s third-grade class, Mrs. Bloskas’ fourth-grade class and Mrs. Osborn’s fifth-grade class.
Mrs. Reece’s third graders raised the most money overall and will get the opportunity to play a game of dodgeball against teachers.
