After restocking their shelves, many local stores began limiting customers’ purchases in an attempt to stay ahead of the necessity shortage. On Thursday, March 19, stores placed signs next to select items including toilet paper, water, paper towels, hand soap and even meats. On many goods, customers were given a limit of one per household. There were mixed emotions among the community, some saying that there shouldn’t be a limitation of the necessities while others disagreed saying the ration came a little too late.
