“Our grand reopening date is expected within a month or so.”
On January 6, 2020, Yard Birdz took to Facebook, announcing their closure.
“We are sad to announce that Yard Birdz will be permanently closing our restaurant on Wednesday, January 28,” the post said. “Since we opened in September of 2018, we have had a wonderful experience providing our meals to the Post community and the people that travel here.”
However, on Monday, May 4, Owner Greg Williams took to Facebook yet again, delivering a less solemn announcement for Yard Birdz fans.
“We are happy to announce that we will be reopening Yard Birdz,” the post said.
Williams also announced in the post that while there will no longer be a dine-in area, he does plan on providing carryout services.
“We are going to change to carryout and delivery only,” Williams said. “Our delivery service will be available to anyone within a ten-mile radius and we will make sure to keep plenty of drivers to keep delivery times as low as possible.”
In the post, Williams also hinted at remodeling the interior of the restaurant saying that the grand reopening was to happen after the completion of the renovation.
“After we complete the changes inside the restaurant, we will announce our grand re-opening date which is expected within a month or so,” he said.
Although information about the grand reopening is vague at the moment, Williams said he will continue to keep customers informed as the date approaches.
“We will be releasing more information between now and the time we do our grand reopening,” he said. “We are happy to have so much support from our loyal customers and followers. Thank you all!
