Along with seeing professional bronc riding, bull riding and barrel racing, those who attend the 80th Annual Post Stampede Rodeo will have the opportunity to participate in mutton busting and wild cow milking. The annual rodeo by GermBlast is scheduled Aug. 6-8 at the Post Stampede Arena.
Grand entry begins at 7:45 p.m. followed by United Professional Rodeo Contestant events such as bareback bronc riding, ranch bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping, steer wrestling, team roping and tie down roping.
Friday and Saturday night will include B&B Roustabout’s “Money the Hard Way” in which contestants 18 years and older enter the ring with a bull. Individuals interested in participating can enter at the show.
Entries for mutton busting, junior barrel racing and wild cow milking can be turned in by calling 806-495-2501 beginning at 7 a.m., Aug. 3.
Other attractions include performances by Slade Coulter on Thursday, Jody Nix on Friday and Hogg Maulies on Saturday. Entry to concert performances is $10 per night.
Advanced tickets can be ordered at outhousetickets.com. Tickets can currently be purchased for $8. Price will increase to $10 on Aug. 1.
