Due to the hot and dry summer weather, Post Volunteer Fire Department announced Friday, July 10 that controlled burns infect will not be allowed in Garza County lines under any circumstances.
The ban on controlled burns is in addition to the burn ban for Garza County that has been in effect since early June.
Those caught burning without approval will be issued a citation.
