Wanda (Lawana) Odom-Holbert received her wings on September 24, 2020.
She was born on November 8, 1929 in Post, Texas.
She was preceded in death by Lyda and Anges Odom; two brothers, Albert and Pooner Odom; one sister, JoAnn (Herman) Tanner; and her former husband, Tommy Holbert.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tanya (William) McFall; grandson, Charles Thomas (Brandy) Foster; four great-grandchildren, CJ, Kaylynn, Dylan and Harlie Foster; and two sisters, Nita Dean and Joy Holly.
Wanda owned her own beauty shop for many years in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she fell in love with the mountains, enjoyed the spice of green chili and life and always did things her own way. She was an amazing, loving woman to everyone in her life and will be greatly missed.
Wanda will be cremated, and a private family celebration of life and interment will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family had requested that any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of a charity of your choice.
