Garza County Golden Clover 4-H Club Secretary/Treasurer
With National 4-H week underway, Oct. 4-10, the four Garza County Golden Clover Club members in attendance discussed plans at the Sept. 26 monthly meeting at the County Extension Office, 215 W. Main St.
Members plan to assist the Post Animal Refuge Center at the Dog Day event at Old Mill Trade Days Oct. 10. At the event, regional shelters will be in attendance alongside adoptable dogs for the biggest adoption event of the year.
The event will serve as the club’s monthly community service project as well as the club’s contribution to One Day 4-H.
The next regular meeting will be held on Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. where all are welcome attend and participate in a special costume contest hosted by the Garza County Golden Clover Club.
