Year-to-date numbers continue to steadily decline

The city’s 2020 sales tax allocation continues to decline with a 6-percent decrease in year-to-date payment compared to 2019, according to figures released by the Texas Comptroller’s Office.
In October alone, the City of Post has seen a payment decrease of 22.17 percent, receiving $65,970.95 compared to the October 2019 payment of $84,767.51.
