Garza County Constables Daniel Yarbro, Precinct 1, and Ronnie Gilbert, Precinct 2, recently retired following a combined 39 years of service.
Monday, David Graves, Precinct 1, and Freddy Guerrero, Precinct 2, were sworn into office, taking over for Yarbro, who served 23 years, and Gilbert, who served 16 years. Graves and Guerrero were both appointed after running unopposed in the November 2020 General Election.
“I would like to thank everyone for their support,” Yarbro said. “It’s been a heck of a ride. David is a good man; he will serve you all very well.”
Gilbert agrees.

The county thanks Yarbro and Gilbert for their many dedicated years of service, County Judge Lee Norman said.
