A multitude of Post FFA, Southland FFA and Garza County 4-H members participated at the 57th Annual Garza County Junior Livestock Show this weekend, showing pigs, steer, heifers, lambs, goats and rabbits.
“The show went really smoothly this year after we got permission from Judge Lee Norman and put Covid-19 precautions in place,” GCJLA President Milton Williams said. “All the kids and parents put a lot of hard work and effort in and it definitely paid off. I want to give a thank you to the First Baptist Church for setting up the concession stand and the sheriff’s office for cleaning up the pens. I am really proud of everyone and can not wait for next year’s show.”
The following sale, which is scheduled for Jan. 21 at 6 p.m., will be held in the commons area of Post High School, 307 W. 4th St.
Anyone interested in donating towards the sale is asked to contact CEA-ANR Danya Peterson at 520-405-0221.
