Competing in the three-day Hawley-Anson Woody Tournament, the Post Antelopes dropped games to Clyde, Comanche, Early and Forsan, bringing their season record to 1-7.
Facing the Forsan Buffaloes on Thursday, March 4, the Antelopes fell 16-2 as the sure-handed Buffaloes ran away in the first inning with eight runs.
With scoreless second, third, fourth and fifth innings for the Antelopes, Brody Molnoskey and Jhonathan Rodriguez each totaled one hit to lead. Post ended the game with two errors.
Taking another loss from the Early Longhorns, the Antelopes watched the game slip away in an 11-0 loss as Early took the lead on a single in the first inning.
Pitching, Molnoskey allowed 11 hits and 11 runs over three innings, striking out four. Will Fairbanks threw one inning out of the bullpen.
Leading the Antelopes, Javen Diaz and Treyson Crow each managed one hit and Krece Kirkpatrick amassed five plays.
Picking up play on Saturday, March 6, the Antelopes followed a 19-0 loss to the Comanche Indians with a 13-8 blistering by the Clyde Bulldogs.
On the mound, Kirkpatrick allowed six runs on ten hits, striking out four. Diaz threw two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen.
Tallying ten hits for the Antelopes, Fairbanks, Molnoskey and Shawn Looney each collected two hits to lead.
The Antelopes challenged the New Deal Lions on Monday, March 9. Results were not available at press time.
