FAIR. Water clear 58 degrees; 5.39’ low. Black bass are great, slowing into spawn fishing on the edge of vegetation and timber with crankbaits, spinners, and worms. Crappie are fair with jigs working the deeper man-made structures around 8-12 feet. Catfish are fair on live bait, cut bait, and stinkbaiters night and day.
FAIR. Water stained; 59 degrees; 2.85’ low. Largemouth bass are fair south working creeks and thick timber on crankbaits and worms. Crappie are fair on minnows, especially under docks and bridges. White bass are good on Alabama rigs deeper on ledges around 12 feet. Catfish are fair on live and cut shad all throughout the lake. Fish deeper if you’re looking for bigger fish.
FAIR. Water lightly stained; 60 degrees; 4.22’ low. Largemouth bass are fair as Christmas for fisherman has arrived at Oak Creek. Fish flooded vegetation and vegetation closest to the dam on worms and bass jigs. Crappie are fair shifting to live bait under docks. White bass are fair on Alabama rigs on drops and deeper points close to the dam. Catfish are fair on trotlines, nightcrawlers, live bait, and cut bait.
FAIR. Water clear; 60 degrees; 0.55’ low. Largemouth bass are good working worms and small crankbaits. There are so many spawn spots across the lake so work less than 6 feet on rocks and vegetation. Crappie are fair on jigs in timber and under large docks. White bass are fair on crankbaits looking at points and drops. Striped bass are fair, getting deeper and deeper off ledges. Catfish are good on cut bait, live sunfish, and stinkbait.
FAIR. Water stained; 58-60 degrees; 0.10’ high. Black bass are fair in the bulrush and cattails on bass jigs, crankbaits, and Carolina rigged worms. They have been close to the end of the lake on the southern end. Crappie are good using minnows working under docks and structures looking for shade. White bass are fair moving back to main lake points. Catfish are fair on live bait and stinkbait prepped pellets.

SLOW. Water murky; 55-57 degrees; 24.65’ low. Drought conditions are still in place. Please check boat ramp access. Largemouth bass are fair and appear to be struggling to reach spawn conditions on worms, crankbait, and spinners among mid-depth structures. Crappie are fair on live bait. Walleye are slow but improving with some catches. Catfish are fair on live bait, cut bait, and prepared bait near the Marina.
