Garza County Commissioner Court meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 9 a.m. at the Garza County Courthouse, 300 West Main.

Post Rotary Club – District 5730 meets each Tuesday at noon at the Community Center, 129 West Main.

Garza County Trailblazers, 205 E. 10th St., provides a meal from 12 p.m. to 12:20 p.m., Monday through Friday. Dine-in and takeout is available. There will be no curbside service. A donation of $3 is suggested for those 60 years of age and older. For those 59 years of age and younger, the cost is $9 per plate. For more information, call 806-495-2998.
Post Public Library, 105 E. Main, provides free library services to all residents Post and Garza County. Register for a free library card to check out books, audio books and videos. Free computer and Wi-Fi access is also available. Copy, scanner and fax are available for a small fee. Post Public Library is open from noon to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Garza County Historical Museum, 119 N. Ave. N, is in the historical Post Sanitarium, providing and preserving history of Post and Garza County. Exhibits rotate regularly, so check often for upcoming exhibits and events. Garza County Historial Museum is open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday. The OS Ranch Museum, 127 East Main, was created by Giles C. MCrary and family. The museum was built to house the art and artifact collections gathered from around the world. Exhibits change approximately three times yearly, so there is always something new in the gallery. The OS Ranch Museum is open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday. For more information, call 806-495-3570.

Post Rotary Club will have a hamburger fundraiser on Friday, April 16 from 11:30-1:00 at the corner of US 84 and Main Street. Donations go to the Rotary’s scholarship fund for area high school students.
Post Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 22 during the Grand Opening of Swift Stop.
Garza County Sheriff’s Office, 412 E. 15th St., has received the Johnson & Johnson single dose COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine is available to anyone 18 years of age or older, regardless of previous medical conditions.
