The MTC-Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility is proud to embark on a new service project to fight hunger in the community by collecting food items for the Garza County Trailblazers Program and POST CARES. This is one of four service projects the Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility will participate in 2021 to celebrate Management and Training Corporation’s (MTC) 40th anniversary. In 1981, MTC was founded with a mission to help at-risk, underserved men and women change their lives through education and training.
MTC operates the Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility for Garza County.
The first service project was to improve literacy. The Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility and partners collected over 800 books which were delivered to the Toddler Town, Windham Head Start, Golden Plains Care Center, Library of Legacies and the Slaton Care Center. This quarter, the focus is on the battle against hunger.
