Kyna Hudman FFA State Champion Barrel Racer

Kyna Hudman and her mare Dolly became the Barrel Racing Champions at the 2021 Texas State FFA Rodeo held recently in Alvarado. The duo won the first and second go-rounds to advance to the short-go. The top ten qualifiers out of 81-barrel racers competed in the short-go. Hudman captured the title of event champion and received a FFA State Champion belt buckle and a $1,000 college scholarship. She will be a senior at Post High School and represented the Post FFA at this rodeo. Kyna is the daughter of Lichele and Richard Hudman, and granddaughter of Julie and Curtis Hudman of Post and Richard Hopson of Lubbock.
