The Post Dispatch will say good-bye this week to our resident summer intern, but not so-long, just see you later.

Brennan Riker joined the paper in May as an intern after graduating in the top of his Post High School class with aspirations of becoming a sports commentator.

With the goal of a degree in Mass Communications and a knowledge and love of sports it became a natural fit for us to put Brennan to work on the weekly sports page, and specifically to work on the Football Guide coming out today.

Brennan has worn many hats this summer from writer, editor, researcher, photographer, and occasionally has been the janitor.  Trying to balance the duties of learning about sports writing techniques for print and preparing for the upcoming fall semester at Lubbock Christian University, we learned quickly he needs coffee!  And this intern has a preference on coffee brands and flavors!
