Sylee Peterson from the Garza County 4-H was named Gold Star Award Recipient at the annual District 2 4-H Gold Star Banquet held at the Eberly Event Center in Lubbock. The Gold Star Award is the highest honor a 4-H member can received on the state level. Tom Payton was named outstanding 4-H Leader for Garza County
