For those that have enjoyed a well-deserved spring break, I hope you had a wonderful week. It always seemed to go so fast when I was a school employee. Whether you traveled or stayed home, it is certainly nice to set your own schedule.

BAND MEDALS

BAND MEDALS On Friday Feb. 28, fourteen Post ISD band members competed in the UIL Region 16 Solo and Contest. All 14 students won a First Division medal in their events and will advance to the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest in May.

POST HOMESCHOOL GROUP

Homeschooling families of Garza County gathered for their first field trip. They were given a scavenger hunt list to find inside the Garza County Historical Museum. If you're interested in joining the Post Homeschool group, contact Anna Gibson at (515)890-4153. 

New arrivals at the library

One side of the library has spring books out, and the other side still has winter books displayed. We are prepared for both, possibly at the same time in the weeks to come. Easter is my favorite holiday and time of the year. Somehow, I don’t think we’re quite there yet.

Mushroom season within the home

Growth in holiness

Let’s continue exploring virtues that are under the cardinal virtue of justice. The virtue of devotion is one of them! Generally, I think people have a vague understanding of devotion as a respect and loyalty to a person or to God. Although this is not inaccurate, it’s lacking in depth.
