Pruning peach trees

Fruit trees are pruned with the goal of promoting fruit production of highest quality. High quality fruit are produced on properly training trees that have established and maintained strong frameworks to support heavy fruit load while maximizing light penetration for highest photosynthesis.

Too much information

Remember the Age of Enlightenment? It was way back there, starting in the 1600s and ending the following century when it gave way to Romanticism, presumably because everybody had gotten bored with being enlightened.Now we live in the Information Age.

Timing of pruning is important

Knowing when specimens flowers is the key in timing pruning. Winter months when plants are dormant is the best time to prune most deciduous trees and shrubs. But not all landscape specimens should be pruned during the dormant season.
