Thursday – Saturday, February 23 – 25 – Varsity Baseball – The varsity baseball team will host a tournament at the Norm Cash field. Time will be announced. Friday, February 24 – School Day – There will be school this Friday to make up for bad weather days. It will be normal times.

Odom’s celebrate one year in business

Smokin’ Dick’s Barbecue celebrated its first anniversary as a “brick and mortar” restaurant after 6 years of catering and serving in pop-up locations and many more years of competing.

Glasss and its alternatives

Glass wine bottles have enjoyed a long and storied run since they were adopted after advances in glass making in the 1600s. Now, however, glass has competition. Prior to glass bottles, wine was transported and stored in wooden barrels, clay amphorae, and sheep skin bota bags.

The Heirloom Kitchen

Meal “prep” is a term we hear so frequently these days. Typically, the preparation involves cooking healthy, whole foods over the weekend, and storing them in individual servings in the fridge or freezer to have ready to go during the week.
