Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he would send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.04 billion in local sales tax allocations for September exceeding the allocations for the previous year by 13 percent.
Of the $665.7 designated for cities the City of Post received $129,378 in sales tax allocations 46 percent more than in September 2021.
