County Attorney Ted Weems introduced the new Assistant County Attorney, Annhya Velez, during Monday’s regular Garza County Commissioner’s Court meeting.
Velez was hired using the grant from Senate Bill 22, Rural Law Enforcement. The bill was established to provide financial assistance to the Sheriff ’s office, constables, district, and county attorneys’ offices.
