I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July celebration. Our town has one of the best fireworks displays I’ve ever seen, and I am so appreciative of those who safely initiate this celebration for us each year.
Post Public Library summer reading program has been supported tremendously this year. First and foremost, thank you to the parents, grandparents, and others who have brought the children in our community to listen, to learn, and most of all, to love our library. Those who have helped us carry out the community theme include Mrs. Doris Giddens, Post Volunteer Fire Dept. & Stetson Cimental, Garza Co. Sheriff’s Office including Sheriff Morgan, Deputy Michael Martinez, and Dispatcher Cha’la Cimental, Post EMTs and Paramedics-Rodney Tidwell, and Sarah Miner and Post PARC. You made Read Aloud so much FUN and so very informative!!! The wise words you said and the books you read may save a life or give interest in a public servant’s career someday.
