On 5 October 1925 the Rotary Club of Post was officially admitted into Rotary International membership. A couple of weeks later on 20 October, 17 charter members, their wives and Rotary dignitaries from across Texas met at the old Algerita Hotel down by the Santa Fe tracks. The charter banquet was quite the festive event.
