Garza County EMS has received approval for a $500,000 state grant that could fund the purchase of a new ambulance and critical emergency medical equipment, according to EMS Director Rodney Tidwell.
“We’re extremely happy about it,” Tidwell said. “Our cardiac monitors are beginning to have more issues, and this grant could help us replace equipment that is critical to patient care.”
