MTC (Management and Training Corporation), the contractor responsible for the Dalby unit prison, sent all employees a letter on Friday with the notification of a permanent elimination of their position and employment with MTC to be effective September 30.

The Post Bold Gold Antelopes traveled to Kermit Friday night to take on the Kermit Yellow Jackets of 3A Division 1 for the first game of the 2024 football season. The Bold Gold dominantly won the game by a score of 52-6.Friday’s game marked the first time the two schools have met since 1985.
