Before Saturday’s Rodeo

Parade from noon to 3 p.m., the Rotary Club of Post hosted an “All Wheels Show”as a part of the downtown festivities. Held in the bank’s main street parking lot, six vehicles made an appearance.
BACKPACKS Employees with Management and Training Corporation (MTC) delivered backpacks to Post Elementary last week. Twentyone backpacks were delivered filled with school supplies. MTC DONATES BACKPACKS TO POST ELEMENTARY

POOL PARTY Garza County 4-H hosted their annual pool party to kick off the new year, last week, Tuesday night at the public pool. Registration opens for all grades except grade 3, on August 15. Can you believe that summer is over, and a new school year has started? I won’t even mention how hard it was starting school on Monday morning after parents and kids worked at the Post Stampede Rodeo last weekend.We know the rodeo was very successful, a good indicator for the new school year.
