White River Reservoir plant honored for 25+ years of weather observations

For a quarter century— through rain, drought, snow, hail and wind— employees at the White River Reservoir Water Treatment Plant in southwestern Dickens County have contributed official weather observations daily to the National Weather Service NWS Observing Program.

City council approves rezoning, hiring of engineer for park project

The City of Post City Council approved the rezoning of West between South Ave. M and South Ave. L, directly in front of the high school, from an R1 to R2. R1 zoning is for single-family dwellings, R2 will allow modular or manufactured homes to be placed on the site.

SELF-CHECKOUT United Supermarket in Post has just installed Self-Checkout. Store Director Gregg Castillo said the equipment was installed last week. We caught a shopper using the new self-checkout this morning. It’s going to be great for those quick purchases. Have you used it yet?
