SPC announces Spring 2024 President’s List

LEVELLAND,TX-South Plains College congratulates more than 400 students who were named to the Spring 2024 President’s List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 4.0 and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.

LEVELLAND-South Plains College congratulates over 700 students who were named to the Spring 2024 Deans’ List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.25 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.

PHS celebrates college signing day

Thirty-four seniors signed letters of intent during signing day last week. The ceremony was held in the high school gym and coordinated by Academic Dean Payton Patterson. Twelve colleges, along with the National Guard and Air Force, were represented at the signings.
SCHOOL BOARD Nancy McDonald and Roy Perez were issued Certificates of Elections and sworn to a three-year term on the Board of Trustees for the Post Independent School District. McDonald has served on the board since 2018. This will be Perez’s first term on the board. Neither candidate had opponents in the 2024 election. | JULIA CHILDS PHOTO

With a full agenda, the meeting began by recognizing the April Students of the Month. Principals from each campus presented the students from each grade who received the honor.The oath of office was administered to Nancy McDonald and Roy Perez.
