TUESDAY, September 5 – ROTARY CLUB - The Rotary Club of Post will meet Tuesday, September 5 back at their usual meeting location of the Post Community Center. Garza County Judge and Rotarian Lee Norman will be the speaker.

Dairy-Free Over-night

You may notice a trend with regard to dairy-free products of late. The grocery cooler shelves are stocked with milk and other dairy products that aren’t “dairy” at all.

EDITOR’S NOTE

After the Terry Funk article was completed we received some comments from local people that had been associated with Funk. A friend that lived in Amarillo commented about hosting the Japanese Olympic volleyball team that had come to town for exhibit games in the 1980s.

Terry Funk

If you know anything about wrestling in West Texas, the Panhandle, and Eastern New Mexico, you know about the Funk family. Dory, Sr. and his two sons Dory, Jr., and Terry. Terry was the one most people remember for his personality. This last week, Terry passed away at the age of 79.
