City sales tax payments still remain positive

The City of Post has brought in over $264,700 over the last two sales tax payments from the Texas Comptroller, putting the city on pace to pass the previous year’s payment of $1.4 million. Thecitypulledin$140,583 for July, which reflected sales during the month of May.

Post ISD has started another school year. This is the 109th year for classes at Post, but school was going on before Post became an independent school district. It was just another county school in Garza County, just like Close City, Graham, Justiceburg, and all the others. Mr.

The Post ISD Board of Trustees met Tuesday, August 8 during a busy week at all the school campuses. All summer has been busy for the administration team as they planned for the upcoming year. The first day of school was Monday, Aug. 14.
