The National Weather Service in Lubbock reported that Post has received 11.17 inches of rain for the year. I know farmers and ranchers have prayed for rain. As showers appeared in some areas, the prayers were for “drought-ending rain.
During the torrential rains last week, a waterfall was created by the runoff water from fields on 380 West. As the water swept through cotton fields and pastures, the final destination was the waterfall on the caprock created by the rains that brought 3.5 to 5.5 inches to the area.
