SPEC Operation Round Up donates $60K to region’s volunteer fire departments

GARZA AREA RECIPIENTS: POST, RANSOM CANYON, WILSON, WOODROWSouth Plains Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up sent 40 volunteer fire departments each each a check for $1,500, totaling a donation of $60,000 to departments that serve its members.

My husband and I recently made a quick stop in New Orleans and took time to head over to Café Du Monde. If you are not familiar with this establishment, they are known for café au lait (coffee with milk) and beignets, (pronounced “ben-yay”). Beignets may not look like a fancy pastry.
