The Post Community Center was transformed into a celebration venue Saturday night as the Post Rotary Club marked its 100th anniversary with a centennial banquet.Hundreds of guests gathered to honor the club’s century of service to the community and beyond.

Cotton harvest nears as summer ends

Look in any direction at the top of the caprock and you’ll see cotton. Row upon row, acre upon acre, clear evidence of the farmer’s hard work.The days are shorter, the mornings are cooler and the life cycle of the West Texas cotton plant is winding down.

Unmapped water line causes major leak

Post city manager Rhett Parker reported to The Dispatch that the Garza County Courthouse project began Monday night, Sept. 29, after a water leak was reported around 9 p.m. The leaking line was not shown on any existing city maps, making its location and size unknown.

Wooden spools near US 380 signal end of safety project

Drivers passing the intersection of U.S. Highway 380 and Avenue K may have noticed a large number of wooden spools stacked along the road.
