The Garza County Community Recovery Center brought Elvis to town with a special performance by tribute artist Kraig Parker at the Ragtown Gospel Theater Sept. 27.The fundraiser drew strong support from the community, with more than 290 tickets sold.

Fire departments dispatched out at approximately 2:15 a.m. Oct. 25 to Reeds RV Park. Post, Justiceburg and Snyder departments responded. Unofficially, the Texas Fire Marshals are considering it “undetermined” as the cause of the fire.

During the Sept. 9 Post city council meeting, Pixie Grisham presented the Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) fund report, allocating $74,398 in tourism funds to local organizations, with each request fully funded to six applicants.
