What do the Garza County Fire Department, Pasadena (Texas) city marshal and Garza County Sheriff’s Office have in common? The answer to this is the Texas Brotherhood.Sunday morning, 37 cyclists pedaled down the Caprock on Highway 84 as they made their way from Lubbock to Houston.

The Community Recovery Center will host its annual fall fundraiser, the Recovery Roundup, on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m. at Ragtown Gospel Theater.The evening will feature a catered dinner, live entertainment, a live and silent auction and the presentation of the Giles C. McCrary Award.
