Eagles add volleyball to athletic program

The Southland ISD board of trustees approved the addition of girls’ volleyball to its extracurricular sports lineup. The announcement was officially made on April 16, 2025, per the Southland ISD Facebook page. The sport will be available to both high school and middle school students.

ANNA GIBSON | POST DISPATCHThe Garza County Commissioners Court met in regular session Monday, June 9, at 9 a.m., with County Judge Lee Norman calling the meeting to order and all commissioners present. The court moved quickly through agenda items to approve minutes and accounts payable.
