- STRAIGHT 8 WINNER Alisa Key of Fort Worth was the winner of the Straight 8 category of the Star Feed Big Buck Contest this year. Alisa’s 8-point had an inside spread of 20 inches and a total score of 146.5. The deer was shot in Kent County, in early November, with a rifle. - BIG BUCK WINNER Evan Botsford of Lubbock was named the Overall and Bow Winner of the 2024-25 Big Buck contest sponsored by Star Feed & Seed of Spur. Botsford’s whitetail scored a total score of 174.5 inches with an inside spread of 20.625 inches. The deer was killed in Kent County, in late October, with a bow.
