The Post Lady Lopes traveled to Morton on March 31 to begin the second half of the district schedule. The Lady Lopes suffered their first district loss the previous week at Sundown.
The Lady Lopes jumped out to an early 5-2 lead after the first inning. Morton cut into the lead by scoring three runs in the second inning to make the score 7-5 in favor of the Lady Lopes.
