Southland’s Lee advances to State meet in shot put, discus

    The Southland Eagles and Lady Eagles track and field teams competed in the 1A Region 1 meet at South Plains College in Levelland May 1 and 2.

    Southland competed against teams from Districts 1 through 8 for an opportunity to qualify for the 1A State track meet. The top two finishers in each event qualify for the state track meet. Additionally, the best third-place finisher across Regions 1 through 4…
