Western swing musician Jody Nix will perform Friday, Aug. 7, as part of the Post Stampede Rodeo’s nightly entertainment.
Nix has spent more than six decades performing traditional country and Western swing music. He began playing professionally at age 8 in his father Hoyle Nix’s band, added the fiddle at age 11 and began singing at 16.
