The Southland Eagles varsity football squad hosted the Lorenzo Hornets last week for homecoming. The Eagles entered the game seeking their first victory of the season.

Southland controlled the game from the opening kickoff. The Eagles put forth a dominant effort, preventing the Hornets from reaching the end zone.
