Billie Marie Proctor
Moreland, 1936–2026
Billie Proctor, 90, of Odessa, Texas, passed away peacefully at home Sept. 9, surrounded by her husband and children.
She was born Feb. 25, 1936, in Woodsboro, Texas, to E.R. Buster and Estella Moreland. She was the firstborn of their five children.
Billie was a member of the Post High School Class of 1954, where she was crowned Band Queen.
On Nov. 23, 1953, she married Lee Proctor in Post, Texas. Billie and Lee were blessed with five children, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A lakeside celebration of life was held Sept. 19 at Lake Amistad in their community of Amistad Acres outside Del Rio, Texas, with family, friends and neighbors in attendance.
Billie will forever be remembered for her beauty, kindness and generous, positive spirit. She was a faithful Christian and a loving wife, mother and granny.
She will be greatly missed. Memorials are suggested to Hospice Excela Care of Midland-Odessa.
