Memorial services for Don “Sparky” Smith, 83, of Tyler were held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel in Tyler with Chaplain John Lindsey officiating. A reception followed the service at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler.

Tommy Young

Services for Tommy Young, 82, of Post were held, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Kenley and Rev Keith Garner officiating. Masonic graveside rites were held under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home. Tommy died on Sept. 3, 2022, in Lubbock.

Travis Polk

Travis C. Polk, 84, died Friday, August 5, 2022, in Garden City, Kansas. He was born July 17, 1938, in Winters, Texas, the son of Talley Clifford “T.C.” and Pearl (Low) Polk. Travis grew up in Denver City, Tx and Post, TX. He graduated from Post High School in 1956.

Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte Kay Taylor passed away on August 12, 2022 in Kerrville, Tx. She was born on November 4, 1943 in Post, Tx to Joe and Helen Taylor. She attended Graham Chapel School and graduated from Post High School in 1962. She then attended North Texas State University in Denton, Tx.

Services for Melvin Lee, 77, of Slaton and formerly of Post will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 in the First Baptist Church of Post with Rev. Ron Pegues of Slaton officiating. Burial in Terrace Cemetery will be under the direction of Hudman Funeral Home.
