Eagles start season with 2-3 record after slew of games

The Southland Eagles traveled to Cotton Center last Tuesday, November 12, for their season- opening game against the Elks. The Eagles were looking to start their season with a victory and build momentum for the rest of the season. The Eagles did exactly that. Southland defeated the Elks by a score of 57-12. The win gives the Eagles a 1- 0 record to start the season.
