Halloween is rapidly approaching, and with a week remaining before the holiday, the Post Bold Gold Antelopes hoped to become nightmare material as they hosted the #8 New Home Leopards last Friday at Jimmie Redman Memorial Stadium.

As the 2025 volleyball season winds down, teams are increasing their sense of urgency to position themselves for a playoff spot. The Lady Lopes entered last week needing to win their remaining two games to stay alive in the playoff race. A loss, however, eliminates Post from playoff contention.

Across the South Plains and into the Big Country, many six-man teams are gearing up for the final stretch of the 2025 football season. The playoff hopes of many teams would continue to survive, or they would end after the final whistle, which is fitting with Halloween looming around the corner.
