Lady Lopes 3-5 after their trip to Canyon

The Post Lady Lopes traveled to Canyon last Saturday, Feb. 22, to play two games after the reworking of the Randall Tournament. The Lady Lopes entered the game with momentum after defeating Abernathy 13-2 last Monday for their second straight win and looked to have a strong showing at Randall.

Bold Gold, Lady Lope track, field set to compete at McMurry on Saturday

The Post Bold Gold and Lady Lope track teams will travel to McMurry in Abilene on Saturday, March 1, for a varsity-only track meet. The meeting will take place at Wilford Moore Stadium on the campus of McMurry University.Post will be competing against athletes from the 1A and 6A classifications.

Lady Lopes earn All-District Honors

The Post Lady Lopes finished their season with a 3-27 overall record and went 0-12 in the district finishing in last place.

Bold Gold Antelopes have 1-2 record after tournament play

The Post Bold Gold Antelopes hosted the Post tournament last weekend at Norm Cash Field. The Bold Gold had to make changes in the schedule due to the cold temperatures last week. The Bold Gold played the Merkel Badgers on Friday, Feb. 21, for their first game of the tournament.

Bold Gold send eight lifters to Regional Powerlifting Meet

The Bold Gold hosted the final meet of the Caprock Powerlifting League on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the indoor facility next to Jimmie Redman Memorial Stadium. This was the final meet of the year and a last-chance qualifier for the boys lifters to lock themselves into the regional powerlifting meet.

Eagles eliminated from playoff race after loss to Buffalos 52-38

The Southland Eagles hosted the Petersburg Buffalos on Tuesday, Feb. 11, for their final game of the season. The Eagles entered the game with an overall record of 8-16 and a district record of 2-7 following the loss to Crosbyton the previous week.

Lady Lopes’ tournament hopes derailed with 1-4 record

The Post Lady Lopes competed in the Slaton Tournament last weekend from Thursday, Feb. 13 through Saturday, Feb. 15. Post served as a host site for the tournament and participated in five games in three days.

Lady Lopes softball gains win over Abernathy

Lady Lopes gained a win over Abernathy last night, Monday, Feb. 18, with a final score of 13-2 in 5 innings.It was a great win to start the season in a regular nondistrict game. The girls had good energy and had several good hits.
